Bob & Steve were friends and band-mates for 5 years in pop-punk trio Amoeba, whilst Bob & Rob (formerly of punk outfit Fiction) have been friends for nearly 10 years.

The three of them came together as Betamax and played their first gig in February 2003. Since then the band have played hundreds of gigs, recorded 4 e.p's (the latest playing here now on MySpace) and are in the process of recording their first full studio-album.

Their uncompromising style and explosive stage performances has made them notorious as one of the most original and exciting bands on the London circuit.
