Betamax, an indie-mod trio hailing from the North East corner of London, have recorded two new tracks for imminent release as a digital download.
The first song due for release, “Ninety-nine”, was first promoted as part of a batch of three demo’s in 2009/10, and received fantastic reviews which encouraged the band to give the track the full studio treatment. In July 2011 they travelled the Outhouse Studios in Reading to work with engineer John Mitchell (previous works include Enter Shikari, Funeral for a Friend, You Me at Six) and re-recorded “Ninety-nine” along with a previously unreleased track “Sit & Listen”.
“Ninety-Nine” will be released as a digital download (iTunes, Amazon, etc) in September 2011 (Holier Than Thou Records)
“Sit & Listen” is due for release in November / December 2011
